VILLAGE RULES

It takes a village to raise a baby. This is your village.

We want everyone to have a good time here, so have a few rules to ensure everyone’s looked after.

Be decent

We hope this will become a diverse space. Somewhere parents of all beliefs and backgrounds can come to find the help they need. We take a strong stance against hate speech, rude or abusive behaviour, bullying, and misogyny. Respect yourselves, respect each other. Report anyone behaving poorly in the review and comment sections of our site.

Be smart

If you are unsure of what type of expertise you need, or advice you are being given, please consult with a medical professional first. Likewise if you are a parent or parent-to-be under 18, please make sure you use this site accompanied by a supportive person over 18 who can help you make the best decisions about your care.

Be fair

Please only contact professionals if you are genuinely interested in their services. We don’t enable bookings through this site, but want to make genuinely useful connections. Please use the review feature of our site to leave honest feedback and don’t try to sell products or services.

Be honest

If you have ideas and suggestions about how we could make this site better, please share them. We’ve created wellmama because it needed to exist (it still makes us hopping mad that it didn’t before) but that doesn’t mean it can’t be improved on. Let’s make it great, together.
